Job Title: Hydraulic Engineering Design Specialist

About the Role

Tecnic is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer to strengthen our team in Bucharest. You’ll be working on complex infrastructure and water management projects, providing full design support from concept to execution. Your work will directly contribute to the development of safe, sustainable, and regulation-compliant hydraulic infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical designs for hydraulic infrastructure works
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies for various water-related projects
• Develop documentation for obtaining water management permits and approvals
• Prepare documentation for dike crossing permissions
• Create technical offers (bill of quantities, project sketches), feasibility studies, permitting documents, execution designs, and offer technical assistance during construction

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Hydraulic Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in hydraulic design and permitting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic design software (e.g., HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, or equivalents)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
