The agreement pertains to Lot 4 within the Caransebes – Timişoara – Arad upgrade initiative, which is a component of an extensive plan encompassing the Rhine – Danube Corridor of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

This contract encompasses tasks such as modernization and track doubling. Additionally, it involves the creation of a 635m bridge, featuring a central span of 180m, spanning the Mures River. Furthermore, the project encompasses the construction of 11 additional bridges, four highway overpasses, and six stations.
